(verb) to get on a plane, train, ship, or bus. At the airport, passengers board the plane when the staff at the gate call their group.
Определение
(noun) a vehicle that can fly in the sky. It carries people from one place to another through the air.
Определение
(noun) the place where you sit on a plane. Every seat has a number and a letter, like 14C, and it is printed on your boarding pass.
Определение
(noun) a seat next to a window in a plane, train, or bus. This is where you can look outside while you are traveling.
Определение
(noun) an aisle is also the space between seats in a bus, airplane, or theater. It allows people to walk or get to their seats easily.
Определение
(noun) a storage space located above your head in a plane, bus, or train where you can put your bags. It's like a cupboard up high where travelers keep their things during a trip.
(noun) a strap that goes across your body in a vehicle to keep you safe. It's very important to wear a seatbelt when you are in a car because it helps protect you during a crash.
Определение
(noun) A person whose job is to serve passengers on an airplane, often called a flight attendant. They help passengers during the flight and make sure everyone is safe.
Определение
(noun) a person who operates the controls of an aircraft or spacecraft. Pilots are the people who fly airplanes and ensure the safety of passengers on board.
Определение
(noun) a long, flat surface where airplanes take off and land. It's the place at an airport where planes speed up to fly away or slow down to stop.
Определение
(noun) the moment when an airplane leaves the ground and starts to fly. It’s like when a bird jumps into the air and starts soaring.
(noun) a state of disturbance or confusion in a smooth flow of something, like air or water. Think of it like bumps in the road when you’re riding in a car; it makes the ride feel shaky.
Определение
(noun) a layover is a stop at an airport between flights. Sometimes, when you travel, you have to wait a while before getting on your next plane.
Определение
(noun) a stopover is a short break made during a journey, usually when someone has to wait at an airport or train station for a while before continuing to their final destination. It's like taking a small pause in the middle of a long trip.
Определение
(noun) a connecting flight is a flight that takes you from one place to another, but you have to switch planes along the way. It’s like taking two buses to reach your destination, where the first bus drops you off at the second one.
