Book a flight and get ready for the airport: English words for tickets, fares, passports and visas, with audio and examples.
A trip by plane starts at home, long before you see the airport. In this first lesson of the series you learn the English words you need to choose a flight, book it and check your documents. Listen to each word, read the examples and try to use the word in a sentence about your next trip.
Choosing a flight
First, choose an airline, the company that flies the planes. Then look for a flight to your destination, the city you want to visit. A round trip takes you there and back; a one-way flight only takes you there.
