Waiting for your flight
Read the departure screens, find your gate and understand delays: English words for the waiting area and boarding, with audio.
You are through security and you have some time. This lesson teaches you how to read the screens, how to understand announcements about delays and what happens when boarding starts.
The screens
Look at the departure board, the big screen with all the flights. Find your flight number and your gate: this is the door where you get on the plane. Next to the flight you see the boarding time and the status. On time means the plane leaves as planned.
